According to the January / February issue of Mens Health, coffee can keep your arteries from clogging. While analyzing the cholesterol levels of 10 coffee drinkers, Swiss scientists found that LDL (which is the “bad” cholesterol) particles soak up coffee’s antioxidants. As a result, the LDL is 20% less likely to become an oxidized form of the bad cholesterol that develops into artery-clogging plaque, according to Cristina Scaccini, one of the study’s author.
The benefits are up to the consumption of 3 daily cups of coffee. Hey, even decaf gives the same benefits!!
